The Seven Deadly Sins are a class of Demons who, aside from Lucifer Morningstar himself, rank directly beneath the royal family in Hell's hierarchy.[1]

As their name suggests, each of them embody each of the seven deadly sins; Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Envy, and Sloth[2] and share the names with the Rings of Hell.

It is, so far, unknown if they all rule over their own rings, since Lucifer (who is part of the classification representing the deadly sin of Pride), rules the ring of Pride, but also all of Hell. It is also unknown if all of them will even appear in both shows. So far, only Lucifer and Belphegor have been referenced in both series by name. The representative for each of the sins are based on a circus act, meant to form a collective circus troupe ruled by Lucifer.[2] It can be assumed that Lucifer represents the ringleader due to being the ruler of the other sins and his ringleader-esque attire. Beelzebub represents the animal tamer/animal shows.[5] It can be assumed that Mammon represents the clown due to his attire and aesthetic, as well as being his role in his debut episode, however this has not been confirmed. It was implied that having the title "sin" denotes demons as members of this class. So far, only two individuals were identified with this title to embody their respective sins: Lucifer and Satan. Similar to this, two additional demons based on the Seven Princes that have appeared in the series had the possibility of being part of this order: a demon named Mammon, who owns a theme park in the ring of Greed, matching his representation in the classification as the sin of Greed, and Asmodeus, the owner of a sexually-oriented dinner theater restaurant found in the Lust Ring who is labeled as "The Embodiment of Lust". This was indirectly confirmed by Medrano in a tweet.[2] In a stream, Vivienne Medrano stated in Helluva Boss, Satan is the "sin of Wrath" whom imps view as a deity-like figure, hence why many characters have cursed by Satan's name in a few episodes.[3] A "Satan Bless" sign can be seen being held by a homeless demon in the non-canon pilot episode of Helluva Boss. In "Spring Broken" and "Queen Bee", Beelzebub, who is represented as Gluttony, was alluded to the alcoholic beverage, Beelzejuice. Beelzebub was also mentioned in the lyrics for "House of Asmodeus" in "Ozzie's". In "The Circus", Belphegor is alluded to through Stolas' Belphegor-themed Happy Pills seen throughout his adulthood. Asmodeus is also alluded to by Asmodean Crystals from a book titled "King of Lust: Asmodeus". Out of the sins mentioned thus far, only Beelzebub and Belphegor are confirmed to be female in the series, as opposed to real-life depictions of the seven Princes who are typically male. Prior to Beelzebub's official appearance, the lyrics for "House of Asmodeus" in "Ozzie's" implied Beelzebub is female. This was later shown to be the case with Beelzebub's debut in "Queen Bee". Belphegor, who is represented by Sloth, is mentioned by Beelzebub in the latter episode as being a female as well. In "Ozzie's" shown on Blitzo's phone has seven apps that are themed after a demon of the deadly sins from the Binsfield classification or the sin they represent. Blitz's Phone Lock screen and Apps

Lucimaster for Lucifer Lustinder for Asmodeus Satan's Workouts for Satan Bee Eats for Beelzebub Moneymakerz Bank for Mammon Sleepy Pillz for Belphegor Envee for Leviathan According to Vivziepop, Leviathan and Satan are the most traditional in sticking with the usual themes, but as of June 26, 2023, she is still working on finalizing their designs.[4] In "Oops", it is implied the Sins may be capable of making deals, which Stolas claims can be "everlastingly binding". According to Crimson in the same episode, Asmodeus is the weakest and most non-threatening of the sins, however it is unknown if this is true or was just a taunt or insult from Crimson. It could also be a reference to Dante Alighieri's Inferno where Lust is regarded as the least bad sin for which people are damned. In "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", according to Asmodeus, he has known Mammon since "the start of Hell", implying that the two are as old, or older, than Hell itself. "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)" is the first episode to have a Deadly Sin debut whose title card directly features the Sin in question, whilst Asmodeus' was merely his logo, and Beelzebub's only features her silhouette within her logo. This is also the first time two of the Seven Deadly Sins appear in one episode, and the first time there is conflict between them.
